Coming out of the domain of general surgeons, trauma has developed as a highly skilled independent field. With the aim of providing excellence in care of acutely injured patients, Goenka Hospital has come up with Accident and emergency (A&E) department.

A & E is a highly skilled centre developed under the roof of Goenka Hospital with the aim of providing world class trauma facilities at one single place.

A dedicated Trauma Care Area:

• Fully equipped Trauma Resuscitation Bay
• 24 x 7 State of Readiness for emergency life saving procedures.
• Ventilators, Defibrillators & X-Ray in Emergency Room.
• CT Scan and USG next door
• Pathology Lab with blood storage located opposite to ER
• Four electrically operated Trolley beds with multi para monitor
• One GPRS enabled ICU on Wheel.

The team members have trained and are familiar with the latest medical procedures and techniques in trauma. The team includes specialists in orthopedic surgery, neurosurgery, plastic & micro vascular surgery, or maxillofacial surgery and general surgery.
